Overview
The facility QA team uses NexShip to process package exceptions. Along a with a junior designer, I led the initiative to create a “wizard” for more complex exception workflows. Previously, associates had to go through 2–3 weeks of training to identify all the different exceptions and learn the various workflows, which sometimes required submitting Jira tickets.
Results
- Data captured allowed costs to be passed back to clients, recovering $1.5 million in revenue
- Training time was reduced from 3 weeks to just 1 week
- Eliminated the need to submit support tickets for many exception types
- Reduced processing time from days to seconds
